Enhancing Awareness of Nature & Creation Through Spiritually Enriching Adventures...

EarthTraces is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, tax-exempt public foundation. First established in 1995 as the "Experiencing the Creation Foundation", it was been reorganized in 2003 as the "EarthTraces Foundation". Initially a volunteer service organization, since 2004 we have enhanced our reach with the incredible efforts of our full-time staff persons and college interns.

EarthTraces means discovering and following ("tracing") the path our Creator has put us on Earth for. We do this by experiencing His natural world and the incredible journeys God's Creation can offer.

Even though the T is capitalized, it's just one word. The capital T represents Christ. Like the T in the center of our name, Christ is the center of our lives.

At EarthTraces we BUILD COMMUNITY by providing onsite outreach, fellowship and teambuilding activities that for churches, schools and everyone benefiting youth, family or community. Further we build the church and the community by being a training and educational resource for those seeking to serve Christ through a career in the church, law enforcement, firefighting, military or emergency medical.

At EarthTraces we BUILD THE INDIVIDUAL by taking people outside their usually manmade world so they can realize the hand of God in everything around us. Through exciting, extreme adventures with parallel messages participants learn about themselves, their purpose and their importance to our Creator. We are a resource for families, groups and churches so that every person - and especially every teenager - can grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ, become established in a local church and find their path to help reach the world.

By returning all net proceeds from program contributions and fees to our College Internship Fund, EarthTraces provides educational funding needed by those who are dedicating their lives to the Church in ministry or to the Community through police, fire, military and EMT service - as well as real life training working in a service ministry.

2007 Stretch Goal: In the calendar years of 2005 and 2006 combined, EarthTraces impacted over 35,000 people in a positive way for Christ! In 2007 we want to stretch this to another 35,000 PEOPLE. This can be through our ONSITE CHALLENGE events, LIFE EXPERIENCE in-nature programs, LIFE ADVENTURE family and group adventure vacations or educational publications on Experiencing the Creation for building a personal relationship with our Creator!

Attendance: Our programs are open to everyone who wishes to experience adventures in Nature and learn more about Life's purposes. Cost will not to be a deterrent for participation.

Leadership: Anyone with a passion for the outdoors a sharing it and our Creator with others is invited to be part of our family of leaders. No particular skill is needed - help in any capacity and in any location is welcomed!

ULTIMATE AUTHORITY
The Bible is God's inspired, infallible Word. It is God's ultimate source for knowledge of Him and the definitive guide for our daily lives.

JESUS CHRIST
By God's grace, Jesus Christ - Who is fully God and fully man - was sent to reopen the doorway to God's presence that was closed by sin. Receiving Christ's gift of salvation is the only means one can escape eternity outside of God's presence.

RELEVANCE
Ministry must be ethnically and culturally relevant so real needs and current issues can be addressed and an effective ministry to both believers and non-believers is developed.

EVANGELISM
We are intentional in evangelism. We reach out to young and old, sharing God's incredible creation in a loving, relational manner. Understanding the importance of the family and of youth in the development of the church, we seek to implement programs that can help reach every teenager and every parent in every community.

LOCAL CHURCH
The church is God's ordained institution headed by Christ. We actively commit ourselves to faithful involvement in the local church as a model and encouragement for everyone to do the same. Our programs will only seek to enhance and never become a replacement for the local church as one's spiritual home.

LEADERSHIP
We are committed to preparing young adults for leadership and influence in the Christian faith. We understand the great influence college students have on teenagers and will provide internship opportunities to those who are dedicating their lives to Christ. We will help them receive the education and training that will enable them to reach the maximum number of persons for Christ in the future.

SPIRITUAL MAGNIFICATION AND EMPOWERMENT
We seek to develop fully devoted followers of Christ who will do the same with others. We continually emphasize the essentials of living empowered by the Holy Spirit.
