Purpose At Heart - Men's Retreat
Wild, fiercely alive! There is a fiery passion built into the heart of every man. That is how he bears the image of God. Men have a God-given heart for adventure. From experiencing what God has placed for us here on Earth, the adventure of loving a woman, to the ultimate adventure of trusting God, finding and following His purpose and path for him. Purpose At Heart is a 6-week study you conduct on-site that culminates with an incredible 2-day, 1-night retreat in nature. The program carefully weaves messages and adventures in Nature to enrich one's understanding of their purpose and place in God's plan and recharge their spiritual desire to grow in understanding and service. Using select concepts from Pastor Rick Warren's "Purpose Driven Life" and John Eldredge's "Wild At Heart", Purpose At Heart remains scripturally-sound while culturally-relevant. Through a combination of rappelling, rockclimbing, caving, orienteering or rafting as well as teaching sessions, movie clips, panel discussions, small group activities, guided reflection and journaling, question and answer - Purpose At Heart is far more than a retreat—it’s an expedition of the heart. You will learn to be truly alive for God, your family and yourself! Experience masculine Christianity - as a man you were created for battle, adventure and rescuing others!

Purpose At Heart is a program that can be enjoyed by anyone - experienced in the outdoors or not as well as a believer or still a seeker. 

It’s ALL INCLUSIVE! Onsite - over a 6 week period, take your group through select "Wild At Heart" lessons. Then spend 2-Days and 1-Night in the wilderness! Food (lunch, dinner on day-1; breakfast, lunch on day-2), campfire camping (w/fees, group tents, air mattresses, pads, lights, fans), audio-visual presentations, music, guest speakers and all sports equipment provided. (Cabin and hotel lodging options available.)

When: The program begins on location Saturday at 9:30 AM and continues through Sunday 5:00 PM.

You may cancel program at any time prior to the off-site activity and apply participant contributions to any future activity. (Sponsor reservation contribution goes directly into the Internship Fund and is non-refundable.)
