EarthTraces "Life
Experience"
programs provide the opportunity to learn as we challenge nature and explore our spiritual selves as a part of God's incredible Creation.
These are more than just a trip with an outfitter - Life Experiences are
widely acclaimed adventures that weave exciting activities with a parallel, deeply impacting message about one’s place in this life and their importance to the Creator.
For the Individual and Family – activities in Nature as EarthTraces provides are regarded by organizations such as
“Focus on the Family” as one of the key elements in building a strong family,
strong personal spirit and strong relationship with God. By getting outside your normal man-made world even for a little while you can relax and enjoy the God-made world around us.
You must stop and be in the quiet to hear His voice.

are self or group directed, EarthTraces no longer provides leaders for
these activities. Lead and program manuals are available for download.

For the Pastor and Ministry Leader – EarthTraces programs are designed as a tool to help you communicate and
expand your ministry. Our focus is on grow your ministry, not ours! Programs are "seeker sensitive" or
"unchurched friendly". Messages are designed to be unthreatening to those not yet sure of the path, yet thought provoking and spiritually rewarding for those that are. We encourage members of your group to bring churched and unchurched friends so they can see that our Creator can be fun!
Life Experiences are 1, 2, or 5-day programs held around the U.S. usually in a state park or similar area, normally within a few hours of the participant's
home. By getting people outside their normally man-made world, these activities provide a unique opportunity for young and old to experience what nature has to offer.

 Life Adventures (differing from Life Experiences) are incredible vacation trips that EarthTraces members regularly plan and take. Everyone is invited to join in on one or take them on their own.

Leap
of Faith
(introduction to rappelling). Probably the most favorite program,
gives participants an exciting, challenging, yet safe exposure to going down the ropes. One's walk through life and the need
to come together with others to work as a team for Christ are the messages

Ascent
(introduction to rockclimbing) teaches basic skills to tackle any obstacle, either on a rock face or in daily life. Success in either is often found on the inside and may not always be along the easiest path to follow. For more information on

The
Wilderness “Survivor” Experience
is a 1-day teambuilding program named after the popular TV show. It combines team games, personal activities and time in nature to build a stronger group and stronger ties to Christ. Unlike the TV show, no one is voted “OFF” – instead teams are rewarded for working together to help
each other through a number of challenges. Teams get to bid on prizes at the end, with each winning a prize. The Wilderness is not difficult and a trip most everyone will enjoy and provides a spiritually and physically rewarding experience.. For more information on

Step
Out Onto The Water is a float trip with a difference! It combines a fun, relaxing float trip with inter-personal activities and messages to build a better understanding of God's expectations of us and our importance to Him.

Descending
Into Greatness is a
wild caving experience into the heart of the Earth. Experience true darkness that is broken by the light each of us can bring into the world. The message teaches
rather than seeking to rise to fame and fortune, Christ tell us is more important to descend into servanthood. All equipment is provided in this truly unique ½-day trip underground. Prior experience is not necessary and just about anyone can be part of it!

5-Days
of Purpose Ministry and Mission Experience is one of the most unique and rewarding experiences you will find.
Highly acclaimed and deeply impacting, it is an incredible adventure in Nature and our Creator, combining 4-days and nights in Nature doing a combination of our Life Experiences (rappelling, rockclimbing, caving, hiking, rafting) with a day of mission work for
“Habitat for
Humanity”. Studies are based on Pastor Rick Warren's "Purpose Driven Life" and emphasize each participants purpose in God's creation.
There's wonderful evening activities like campfire fellowship,
astronomy, video under the stars, music and more! It’s an incredible alternative to camp that will touch each participant’s live forever. |
